Description

The expansion project of the existing foundry owned by Brembo S.p.A. has doubled the production capacity of the plant inaugurated in 2006, creating the largest braking discs production plant in Europe.

The realization has happened in the record time of little more than a year and CED INGEGNERIA S.R.L., active since the choice of the original settlement in 2000, has been protagonist of all project and construction phases.

An integral part of the intervention, in addition to the foundry and ancillary constructions related to the production, it’s also the modern changing room and the new glass and steel reception that, with their Brembo’s red facades, color the entire industrial complex.

At the same time, the plant for the production of brake discs serving the adjacent cast iron foundry has also been expanded.

The first phase of works involved the construction of the new warehouse, divided into two areas: storage of raw parts and storage of processed ones (logistics). In the second phase: the construction of the building that houses the new mechanical processing lines.

All of that is combined with other minor service interventions for production, logistics, workers and administrative management.
